Karen Linder, Parent Advocate

Trained in special education and disability advocacy, Karen brings experience and gravitas to support you and your child's needs.

Karen is a member of the National Council of Parent Attorneys and  Advocates (COPAA), a non-profit established to provide assistance for parents of children with disabilities.  Karen is an ally and advocate for individuals with disabilities and their families.  

Karen is a non-attorney parent advocate.


Certifications Include

Karen is a 2014 graduate of the Partners in Policymaking advocate training program conducted by CT's Council on Developmental Disabilities, the Office of Protection and Advocacy, and UConn's Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities.  

Karen is also a 2018 graduate of the William & Mary Law School's Institute of Special Education Advocacy.  



In addition to training from disability and special education experts, Karen has a professional network to support a wide array of challenges her clients may face in obtaining a free and appropriate public education (FAPE) for their child.
